How we count

We go through the SS27 womenswear shows look by look. A look is counted once for each trend it clearly shows. Share of looks is the number of counted looks divided by all the looks a house sent out. Season wide figures across many houses come from the T-Fashion Runway Index, named under each chart that uses them.

What to do now

For brands

  1. Build a straight skirt block now, in wool twill, for AW27.
  2. Plan a resale or repair offer before 2028.
  3. Rewrite product pages in plain, exact words, for search and AI.
  4. Start collecting fibre and factory data ahead of the EU textile rules.

For buyers

  1. Move budget from loose trousers to skirts. The runway data points the same way.
  2. Keep a strong dark base: black, midnight, off black.
